Brett Nathan Boutwell is Associate Professor of Musicology and the William F. Swor Alumni Professor in the College of Music and Dramatic Arts at Louisiana State University. He writes on experimental and avant-garde music since 1945, specializing in the work of the American composer Morton Feldman.
