Lisi Schoenbach is Associate Professor of English at the University of Tennessee and the author of Pragmatic Modernism (Oxford University Press, 2012). She is currently at work on her second book, tentatively titled W.E.B. Du Bois, Institutionalism, and the Fate of the Public University.
