Ella Mei Ting Li is a Lecturer in the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she earned her PhD in Chinese Language and Literature. Her research interests lie in cultural history, popular culture, fandom and queer studies, with a particular focus on Hong Kong and global Sinophone communities.
