Dr. Marcelo Stamm studied philosophy at LMU Munich and Oxford University and is professor at Virginia Tech, with extensive research experience in the philosophy of creativity and design, and in continental philosophy and philosophy of mind. He is particularly interested in the philosophical appraisal of situated artistic practices through constellation research–which he extrapolates from original research into German Idealism–as well as in innovative models of conceptualizing creative processes across all areas of art and design.
